As a BlackBerry user for many years, I've grown so used to having a "real" keypad that I've never been tempted to actually make the switch to the iPhone, even though it looked cool. At first, I felt left out--everyone else was getting flashy new iPhones and here I was choosing to remain on the very useful, but un-slick, BlackBerry. But all the bells and whistles of the iPhone started to ring out of tune when friends complained of dropped calls. Still, there were some cool apps among the dozens of useless ones, I thought. That made it cool, right? Maybe not so much anymore. The combination of the strained AT&T network, and a growing legion of frustrated users has caused me to think twice about "going iPhone." Apparently others share my sentiments. Check out this spoof of an iPhone ad that illustrates some of the issues users have been experiencing (warning--there's some colorful language in the first few seconds, so the easily offended may want to turn down the volume):
Thanks to James Siminoff for posting.

Interesting video and it was nicely done.
I have to say as a Blackberry user up until last month, you really don't know what you're missing until you switch to the iPhone.
I use to knock Apple about claiming to be enterprise service level then they were down for three days. But I've had similar problems with the Blackberry. The Apple app store brings a very nice experience to the iPhone something that I did not get through handango. I did get charged for a Blackberry app that wouldn't work on my Curve and was told 'sorry'.
After being a loyal Blackberry user I have to say, the iPhone is how a smartphone should be.
I have tried typing on the iPhone and the BlackBerry touch screen just did not feel as fast and easy. Maybe I just need to give it some time to get use to and I have to say the iPhone auto-correct is pretty good.
Waiting for them to create a BlackBerry touch screen top with standard keyboard like today. Perfect blend.
Once you go mac you will never go back. I LOVE THE IPHONE!!!
Seriously, i dare you to take a thirty day challenge and see for yourself how amazing the iPhone is...
Hmmm I wonder if this article explains why GotVmail does not an iPhone app personally I am seriously considering switching to RingCentral because of there iPhone app that allows you to make outgoing calls with your iPhone.
The iPhone 3G makes me smile on a near daily basis (and I've had the phone for about a year)...for technology, that's a miracle ; )
I have a MacBook Air for travel and it is pretty small and light but it has issues like any other one.
Many team members have iPhones and we create features that are valuable to our customers not just cool. We use real data from what our entrepreneurs are using.
I appreciate your feedback around the iPhone application and we can see value in making outbound calls, however it needs to be a solution that works for many and we have this with no need for any application to be installed.
An app would be cool *because* it's valuable.
Little things can make a huge difference, and there's a lot of value in an app where users can make outbound calls with the touch of a button. I never make outbound calls with through the voice prompts because it's not as easy as it should be. What separates a great product from a superior product is the user interface. Don't let another company beat you to it.
Agree, we are on it and have some valuable stuff like that to make available to customers soon.
